Netflix has announced officially the next season of Lucifer. Just after the premiere date of season 5 of Lucifer, there are official plans of Lucifer Season 6 by Netflix. This season will also be the last season. Lucifer is based on a character from DC Comics. The character is built by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg. It has first been broadcasted on Fox (2016).
The show tells the story of Lucifer i.s.Tom Ellis. He is the Lord of Hell. He has the power to decide to leave his domain and run night clubs in LA. Lucifer finds himself in LAPD because he helps to solve the crimes and scenes. For 3 years, it remained a solid performance by Lucifer until it was canceled from Fox. Netflix picked the show because the solid campaign had started to save Lucifer.
Season 5 In 2 Parts
Netflix began with the 2nd season in May 2019. Fans have waited since then for the next season. People thought season 5 was the last season. But reports come up with the twist. Netflix itself is interested in picking up the show more. Thus, it is decided that it will be pursued with one more season. The move is supported by Ildy Modrovick and Joe Henderson. Ellis joined negotiations for the theoretical sixth season. And though they hit a limited speed blows along the way, Ellis approved a new contract at the end of May.
According to the official social account of Lucifer, the show will be pursuing the 6th season as well.
It also makes sure that this season would be the last season. The first half of the 5th season of Lucifer will start airing from 21 August. This season will be having 16 episodes that will be divided into two parts. And maybe the second half will come next year.
Though, it is not disclosed about the number of episodes of season 6. But fans are surely delighted with the news.
