One of the leading OTT platforms, the giant ‘NETFLIX’ is the favorite destination for binge-watching from movies to TV series to Animes. The platform is filled with all sorts of amazing things to watch from all across the globe. One of the most popular genres that Netflix is filled with is Superhero TV shows. In recent times, it’s been filled with Superhero TV shows and had a huge success with it. From Marvel Cinematic Universe based movies/series like ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Iron Fist’ to ‘The Umbrella Academy’ which is based on the Dark Horse Comics.
Netflix Superhero Influence So Far
This month itself, the platform released ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’ based on the comic series from Mark Millar and it was one of the fan favorites and a big hit for the platform. It’s still in the Top 10 and most probably will continue to be there for a while. This only means that the platform will be happy and thinking to move forward with more of this genre from now on. Though they haven’t actually announced anything yet, the sources have been buzzing with some news and they have whispered that Netflix is actually planning more than a couple of superhero shows (5 according to the sources) are under process.
Although it’s not official and the sources haven’t confirmed any names or project titles yet but hopefully a couple of the movies/series would be with the original concept. Well, whatever be the case, if you like capes and amazing suits and bots and stuff, you are in one hell of a delight. And now that Netflix is supercharged to focus on this genre and allowing the franchises to call it their own, we might as well see the start of some new franchises as well (That’s very much a possibility).
But let’s not get too over excited and wait for it to actually be announced and till then enjoy the ones that are already there for us. Continue enjoying and binge-watching the SUPERHEROES….!!!
