The Umbrella Academy Season 2 on Netflix ends without particular answers to the biggest mystery of season 1. The mystery is how Reginald Hargreeves was knowing the details of the apocalypse. In season 2, the children of Hargreeves faced a new end of the world that is the year 1963. They attempt to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy, President. Their father’s origin is unveiled along their way. But the audience is not satisfied with how he was knowing about the 2019 apocalypse.
Reginald acquired 7 out of 43 children born on the very same day. They were with unique superpowers. He has done that to make them ready so they could stop the end of the world. Clearly, he realized that Vanya played a crucial role in the devastation of humanity.
Reginald had given the medication that would suppress her power and would not allow her to be part of the battle with her siblings. Powers of Vanya have reached her full potential by the end of season 1.
Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, the Netflix show, opens with a new timeline, unlike season 1. This confuses the fact that how Reginald knows about the 2019 apocalypse.
7 members of the Umbrella Academy were transported to Dallas of 1960. They created a time paradox that is similar to the “grandfather paradox”.
Future Involvement Of The Paradox
Coincidentally, Diego expects to halt the assassination of John F. Kennedy and they interact with Reginald Hargreeves. They interact to reveal evidence about the future that results in an even more complicated paradox.
After telling him about the future involvement with him and the Umbrella Academy, they gave him the equipment to alter his own as well as theirs.
It is the ” grandfather paradox” that they never attended the academy.
If Klaus, Vanya, Diego, Five, Allison, Ben, and Luther have never grown up together, it is apparent that they would never appear together. They would not ignite the end of the world in this timeline.
The same has happened twice in two different timelines. Let’s hope for the sorted mystery in season 3.
