Mindy Kaling’s teen drama Never Have I Ever premiered on Netflix in 2020. The series made a massive success after its release. The teenage series focuses on the life of Devi, an Indian American girl living in California with her mother and beautiful cousin. Never Have I Ever season 1 plot shows how Devi coping with the loss of her father in her romance with the two leads—Paxton and Ben. Now, the series is all set for season 2, fans are wondering who will Devi choose to be with?
Never Have I Ever: Complicated Love Triangle
The story revolves around Devi Vishwakumar played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan a modern Indian American girl who is going through a lot of trauma after her father’s death. And now Devi wants to become cool and popular in her school. Her journey to become one of the cool kids at her high school introduces many complications in her life which basically leaves her in a complicated love triangle.
Ben and Devi:
In the series, Devi and Ben have been known each other since they were children, and also they are each other’s competition in academics. Devi and Ben always compete with each other to get the best grades in their class.
As enemies, the two never leaves a chance to say harsh words to each other. However, the table turns when their hatred converted into a friendship to lovers trope.
Devi and Paxton:
While on the other hand, Devi has a huge crush on Paxton Hall Yoshida, who is a popular guy in the school. To avoid his father’s grief, Devi feels she should focus all her energy on trying to begin a relationship with Paxton. Despite the fact that Paxton isn’t interested in her at all.
After some complications, Devi and Paxton started sharing a good bond as they get to know each other more.
This love triangle has been a major topic of discussion amongst the viewers. While most of the fans feel that Devi should go with Ben instead of Paxton. As they both struggle with loneliness as Ben’s parents are not attentive. Therefore, it will be more interesting to see what Devi’s heart wants.
