So many prequels and spinoffs have been inspired by the novel Dune. The novel Dune, since its publication, has been the source of motivation. And not only motivatio but also ideas for many and now for the upcoming trilogy. This trilogy is being written by none other than Brian Herbert. He is the son of late Frank Herbert, the late author of the novel Dune. Brian Herbert will collaborate with Kevin J. Anderson to write on this trilogy.
Brian Herbert recently wrote, “Kevin and I are pleased to announce a new trilogy for Tor Books, focused on Duke Leto, Lady Jessica, and Paul, leading directly to the events in DUNE. We’ve written the first novel, THE DUKE OF CALADAN, to be released Oct 13.”
