According to a statement from WhatsApp about the New Feature Of WhatsApp, a person in a one on one chat could disappear the messages on or off. While the administrators would be having complete control in group chats.
The statement reads, “We’re starting with 7 days because we think it offers peace of mind that conversations aren’t permanent while remaining practical so you don’t forget what you were chatting about. Our goal is to make conversations on WhatsApp feel as close to in-person as possible, which means they shouldn’t have to stick around forever.”
New Feature Of WhatsApp Aims To Make It Lighter
For the New Feature Of WhatsApp, the company said that it would aim to make the conversation “feel lighter and more private.” The messaging app’s recent feature will be available to all users from this month.
According to the instructions, the message would disappear only if the receiver has not opened the message in the time period of 7 days. Also, the same message, if it is forwarded, the same message would not be disappeared.
Users can take the backup before the message disappears. The message thus then would appear in the backup.
