The underwater vehicle from Avatar 2 is revealed by producer Jon Landau. James Cameron’s Avatar came out in 2009 and the sequel is slow to arrive. Cameron has spent a lot of years while focusing on the overarching story and technology that is needed for the necessary CGI. Avatar 2 has faced many delays but it seems that things are back on track as Disney has planned it for December 2021. Though, just two weeks ago, the sequel was delayed again and scheduled to 2022 because of the pandemic. The pandemic has disrupted production.
The work on the Avatar sequel is continuing and filming was to resume in June. Cameron has also revealed that he is in awe of the look of Avatar 2. Avatar 2 has spent a lot of time in the oceans of Pandora. And now a new technology is revealed that is developed for the film. Fans can now get the first look at the new underwater vehicle from the film.
Crab Suit Is Human-Driver Vehicle
Landau has shared ages on social media. He has introduced his fans to the Crab Suit. He has described the Crab Suit as “human-driven multifunction submersible.” And the vehicle seems suited for land as well as sea.
Details about the film are still under wraps. Landau has revealed that The sequel will feature Jake and Neytiri with a family and they will leave their home at one point.
Just like the first installment of Avatar, Avatar 2 is anticipated to feature visuals that will be awe-inspiring. And this new vehicle is considered the tip of the iceberg. Though, the continuous delay is disappointing. But, it will be giving Cameron and his team more time to refund the underwater CGI. It is expected that more images from behind the scenes will be revealed soon from Avatar 2 by anyone from the team.
