The most frequent critique of the update is that when ray tracing is enabled, the game’s performance suffers, with many users reporting frequent stuttering and even game crashes. The DLSS is not working properly, and changing the game’s settings can lead to an additional crash, which is two other issues.
Developer CD Projekt responded to the complaints later on Twitter and stated that they were looking into the performance issues brought on by the update. The firm has acknowledged the problems PC players are now experiencing and promised a “soon” update that will fix the problems. Players are using Reddit and Steam to discuss potential fixes for the update’s issues until then.
