The schedule of Nintendo for Switch Games is almost bare. But this would not change soon. The schedule is for almost a year. Nintendo has announced a Direct broadcast on Monday morning at 10 AM ET i.e. today.
Nintendo has described the broadcast as “the first Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, a new series focused on titles from our development and publishing partners.” The broadcast was said to be 10 minutes long and has provided updates about the “small group” of the previously disclosed games for the Switch.
Though, there are not many games as in Switch games with release dates. There are only a few that have been announced that are supposed to be broadcasted.
There are the games that qualify for the broadcast of Switch games
- Metroid Prime 4, it is now being formulated by Retro Studios, which is a Nintendo deputy as a “partner”.
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, it was announced at last year’s E3. It almost doesn’t count for this Direct unless there is a disclosure about who made it.
- Bayonetta 3, which was announced in 2017 at The Game Awards.
- No More Heroes 3, these are rumors of releasing the game in 2020. It has had a couple of teaser trailers. Hope more revelations will be made soon.
- Shin Megami Tensei V, the latest instalment in Atlus’ RPG, was declared at the Switch’s reveal event way back in January 2017.
- Hollow Knight: Silk song, it is the Hollow Knight sequel. It doesn’t hold a release date.
- Bravely Default 2, Square Enix’s sequel to the 3DS RPGs is Nintendo exclusive for 2020.
- Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, this is Switch/PS4 Persona 5 spin-off sequel that is out in Japan. No Western release is confirmed as of now.
Maybe Nintendo has something more in the bag. Let’s find out more after the broadcast.
