Oma cinema chain is looking forward for its recent venture that is similar to Star Wars Galactic Senate.
Oma Cinema is coming up with a different setup but it is so much similar to Galactic Senate from Star Wars. It is rather suspicious. With the pandemic hitting the entire world, the cinema has also faced a setback. The productions have gone down. There has been a serious halt in the cinema culture and the theatres are facing financial losses. Many movies are getting delayed. People are more likely to enjoy movies sitting in their own comfy space at home.
One cinema has taken steps to change the current movie culture by making its plans public.
The Architecture
Pierre Chican is the architect to design such theatres seeking to maximise the comfort irrespective of the seat. It promises a sustaining visual experience. Better seats with private booths and huge screens are included. Much alike Star Wars ‘pods’ with florescent lights, it has become more forward looking. Space age auditorium is the cherry on top.
The cinema corresponds to the sitting of Senate. A circular room with seats all around and the center as the stage. In Star Wars these booths could even float in the air. However, the pods are not too many. They are stretched alongside the curved theatre. With such a great setting it could indulge the viewer in many ways.
The setup whether being especially drawn from Star Wars is a matter that requires clarity.A hint however can be taken by viewing the photo to the Star Wars battlefront as one of the stills of the Oma cinema.
Each booth shall have its own access to amenities and dinner in dine in movies. Bar lounges are available for VIP guests. The Cinema architecture is likely to bring forth a new experience of a lavish movie watching for every viewer.
Some Drawbacks
In reality and the pandemic, with each booth being separate it helps with social distancing. Every person who comes shall sit with the persons he has come with.
On the other hand, it might also result in even more expensive movie watching in theatres. It might make theatres less accessible.
Conclusively, such movie experiences are still futuristic. It has just been perceived as a concept. It is yet to come to reality. If this is implemented then we are definitely in the Revenge of Sith.
