Bryan Cranston will be playing Walter White again. The actor has himself confirmed that he would be playing Walter White “in a second”. And this is quite interesting.
Bryan Cranston meant that ” I’d bite your hand off’. He does not mean “stop nagging me I’m playing Call of Duty”.
The Breaking Bad star would not be playing the character in the show as the show has ended. Though there is one more series of Better Call Saul in the line. So maybe Walter White could make the appearance there.
While speaking to Collider, the actor said “I would be in it [Better Call Saul] if Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, who are co-executive producers on it, wanted me to be in it. I would do it in a second.”
“But it hasn’t happened yet, I can tell you, and we’ll see. I don’t know. There’s one more season to go and we’ll see what happens!”
The Team Is Eager To See Him As A Director
The team has asked him to get involved in the show from behind the camera. But things have not been materialized yet.
He said, “I have been asked to direct an episode every single season and it just didn’t work out because of a commitment to doing a play or doing a movie or something, so I wasn’t able to section out the times available.”
“But I do love the show. I think it’s a fantastic show.”
Vince has made it clear earlier with Collider that he is desperate to see the actor taking the director’s chair.
Vince said, “I’d love to have Bryan direct an episode. I got to write an episode [of Breaking Bad] that Bryan directed and I was on set with him every day, and it was a wonderful experience.”
If Bryan Cranston will be seen as Walter White in the final series, it will be interesting to watch.
