Recently leaked photos from Disney Plus’ WandaVision set show that Vision and Scarlet Witch are living in the ’50s contorted reality but they are traveling through decades of sitcom-fantasies altogether.
The photos from Disney Plus’ WandaVision set were shared on Twitter by user NacaoMarvell. The trailer of WandaVision’s Season 1 and the poster harkened back to an early ’50s sitcom aesthetic, but its photos from Disney Plus’ WandaVision ser shows costumes in styles that are more similar to the late ’60s to early ’70s.
In the photos from Disney Plus’ WandaVision, we find Wanda in a sunny, hippie-like pantsuit. She’s also outfitted in a brilliant red sequins one-piece that seems like something out from a musical number.

Vision is seen in a white shirt with dark pants, reminiscent of a ’70s period Bond style with the shades to match. The show’s overview verifies that life is not as it appears for Wanda and Vision and that kind of charm is possibly at play. This same is shown in the photos from Disney Plus’ WandaVision.
“Marvel Studios presents “WandaVision,” a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer.”
Fans assumed that WandaVision’s tale is set in a private compound that is subjected to truth and manipulation of external sources or a combination of both.
WandaVision will be the first series from Marvel Studios that will be aired on Disney Plus before The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, it stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. WandaVision series debuts on Disney Plus in December.
