It is now more than 6 months since Harry and Meghan took a step back from the Royal Family. The announcement was made in January. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they would break all the ties from their Royal Duties to become financially independent. After this, they have shifted to California with their son Archie. However, they also have stated that they would plan to split their time between the US and the UK.
The New York Times reported that Harry and Meghan have founded a production company. They have signed a production deal with Netflix. However, not much is known about the kind of content that they will produce. But the projects could range from documentaries to feature films. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released a joint statement while expressing their excitement by saying that Netflix’s “unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content” with many people.
If They Will Make On-Screen Appearances
It’s currently ambiguous if Harry and Meghan will bring about any on-screen appearances, although fans of the two shouldn’t clench their breath. While Meghan is possibly best known in Hollywood for her role as Rachel Zane in the formal documentary Suits, she has asserted that she “has no plans to return to acting.”
While this is a disappointing announcement for some, Netflix executives seem to endorse this decision, with Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s co-chief executive, saying “the company is incredibly proud they have chosen Netflix as their creative home.”
