One of the outstanding and prominent concept artists/illustrators Stanley “Artgerm” Lau has offered his catch on Punchline, the Joker’s new sidekick who made her comic debut (Batman) in February 2020.
The art, that was shared on Artgerm’s official Twitter page, indicates her exerting a knife while showing her well-known purple/black outfit. Artgerm said about the piece, “Day 3. First comic character for Arttrober 2020 is none other than Punchline”. This is his 2nd drawing of the character after starring her on a variant cover earlier this year.
Though, it was only introduced several months ago in Batman Vol. 3 #89. She has gained much of the popularity of the DC Comics franchise.
The character was created by James Tynion IV and Jorge Jiménez. She had appeared as a college student that would ultimately become obsessed with the Joker. Also, she plays a major part in the recent DC Comics storyline that is The Joker War.
