Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will be seen together filming a new Jurassic Park movie. Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum are back in action and it seems they are having a blast.
The two will be seen reprising their roles as Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ian Malcom in the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion. They are now filming once more after the production has resumed after the coronavirus pandemic. It seems Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum have enjoyed some downtime together. Neill has shared a series of Twitter videos showing ‘Jam with Jeff’.
In one of the videos, they marked ‘reunion’ by treating us to the classic tune ‘I Remember You’, it was previously sung by the likes of Doris Day and Nat King Cole.
Goldblum said, “This apropos to our reunion,” who is wearing shady sunglasses and a beret, to his co-star.
In another clip, Neill illustrates that Goldblum ‘flatly refuses to rehearse’, implying what we see is improvised and off-the-cuff.
Neill tweeted, “Every time is the first time,” sharing their catch on Kurt Weill’s ‘September Song’.
When Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum started filming for the new Jurassic Park installment, Universal decided not to send the first unit to Malta as it was planned. Because it was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In fact, production has sent a second unit. A spokesperson of Universal said, “Jurassic World: Dominion will have a significant presence in Malta with a second unit crew shooting there from the end of August through to September.”
“Working with an abundance of caution as we have done throughout this production, the first unit will no longer shoot in Malta to keep our presence on the ground to a minimum.”
“We’d like to thank the Maltese Government and Film Commission for all their support and we look forward to a successful shoot in this beautiful country.”
Production on Jurassic World: Dominion was put on suspension on 13 March. But it resumed in July and after resuming Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum have started working together.
Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum On Taking Protection Measures
When filming boosted again, Goldblum talked about the protection the studio has been carrying to keep the crew and cast safely.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, he said, “We’re headed, in about a week and a half, all of us, over to England, where there are protocols galore.”
“We’re going to be very safe, I think. And we’re going to shoot Jurassic World… They gave us 109 pages. They invested all their heart and soul, and a lot of money, into making sure that we’re safe.”
“I won’t bore you with the details, but we’re all going to be quarantined in a kind of a bubble, all the crew, and all the cast. And testing and everything… We know it’s a risky time, but we feel it’s good.”
“Sam Neill’s there and Laura Dern and Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard; Colin Trevorrow’s directing, and there are gonna be some dinosaurs.”
