Sam Raimi has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be seen directing Doctor strange. He has confirmed that he will be directing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness for phase 4 of Marvel Universe. There have been several changes faced by Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2019 after they have revealed their plans for new few years. There have been differences that have been faced by the director Scott Derrickson and Marvel Studios. Later, Derrickson left the film. Thus, it has become important for the Marvel universe to fill the void.
It’s not been long that Derrickson has left, it is now reported that Sam Raimi has replaced him. Raimi has started directing with horror movies, also he is best known for the Spider-Man trilogy that stars Tobey Maguire. The first two instalments of Spider-Man have raised a lot more confidence in audiences that they have started believing in the skills of Raimi as a director.
Fans believe he is the best to direct Doctor Strange 2. Though Marvel Studios has yet not confirmed the news, Sam Raimi has himself confirmed that he is to direct the second Doctor Strange.

He also has confirmed the news while speaking to ComingSoon. ” He was so original, but when we had that moment in Spider-Man 2, I had no idea that we would ever be making a Doctor Strange movie, so it was really funny to me that coincidentally that line was in the movie. I gotta say I wish we had the foresight to know that I was going to be involved in the project.”
The film’s release is pushed to November 2021 from May 2021 due to reshuffling schedule of phase 4.
