It seems like Samsung is planning to build a mobile device that has a completely transparent screen, according to a recent patent application. The application was submitted back in January but it was discovered in August that’s why it’s now in highlights.
So after it comes after everyone is excited to see what a see-through like and on top of that, a question is why would anyone want a see-through phone. It’s the most not worthy idea of trying to build a machine with a lot of components which is just transparent. But we don’t think Samsung submitted their patent to the US Patent Office and World Intellectual Property Organisation just for the sake of fun.
It seems like the pixel on the device is going to take the credit for delivering a see-through part of it, which is just a window on their device.
Why Samsung Is Trying So Hard To Build A See-Through Phone?
The question is still the same why would anyone need a see-through device and why Samsung is working so hard to make it.
No, as it turns out. You’d think that a camera might have to be opaque, wouldn’t you? That means that somewhere on the transparent body they’d have to install a large black camera unit. Wouldn’t that ruin the concept of a see-through phone? We don’t know the reason but if Samsung has submitted that patent they would have researched a lot.
If it does come to fruition, there’s a chance we could see the same tech applied to other devices such as televisions, laptops, and computer monitors, utilizing OLED displays for better clarity and low power consumption.
As with all things like this, we’ll just have to wait and see.
