The show featured Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York as four best friends in New York City.
Lately, rumours are swirling that HBO Max is planning to reboot the popular fashionista show ‘Sex and the City’ but with a big twist. Find out what it is!
Sex and the City:
It’s been more than 20 years since Sex and the City premiered but still the show hasn’t aged well in many ways. Most of us have grown up watching “Sex and the City” in our teenage. The show has a different perspective on women. It shows that women can be single in a big world and sex is something women can and should enjoy. Most importantly the show gave us a strong message of female friendship.
Sex and the City comeback, but with a BIG Twist:
According to reports, the show might soon return on HBO Max. Hopefully, the fans may get a chance to see the four amazing women on the screen again. Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis are all set to reprise their iconic roles. But Kim Cattrall who has played the character of Samantha Jones won’t be returning for a reboot.
According to Deadline, WarnerMedia is trying to bring back the classic show. However, Kim has no plans to come back. She said the producers should look for her replacement instead of putting pressure on her to return.
Sex and the City revisit:
Sarah Jessica as Carrie who is also a producer of Sex and the City recently revealed that she would be interested to make some episodes of “S*x and the City”
According to Page Six, Sarah said “I wouldn’t call it a reboot. I would call it a revisit. I’d like to see where all of them are. I’m curious the world has changed even since the movie….technology and social media”
