Viewers are waiting for the second season of Ratched. Viewers are lapping up the new Netflix series Ratched since the show landed on the streaming platform. The show stars the likes of Sarah Paulson. It features the story of Nurse Mildred Ratched, she is a character that is created in Ken Kesey’s 1962 novel that is One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. It was later immortalized by a terrifying Louise Fletcher in the movie of the same name (1975). The movie starred Jack Nicholson.
There are so many people who have already binged watched all the episodes after the show debuted and they are now begging for more.
But no worries now, there will be the second season of Ratched as well, after people asked for the second season of Ratched.
Netflix has commissioned the second season of Ratched which means we can get more excited about what will be happening next. The only difficulty is we could be staying a while before we get to treat our eyes and ears on the new material of the second season of Ratched.
While speaking at an online press conference, Sarah explained that because of the pandemic, producer Ryan Murphy had a number of projects, it is not sure if Season 2 has been written as of now or not.
She said, “Nobody knows anything about season two because Ryan, with the number of things he has going on, who’s to know when that’s all going to begin, and you throw in the pandemic and then we think well who knows”.
The first season has 8 episodes and is set in 1947. That is a good sign for the future, provided that the movie was set in the 1950s.
