Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman joins the MCU with the help of a new Secret Wars poster by a fan.
Out of all the superheroes who have been depicted on the silver screen over many years, Spiderman is the most interesting one.
Sony has helped to kick off the era of the big screen with Sam Raimi’s Spiderman trilogy that has starred Tobey Maguire. Raimi was withdrawn from the franchise following Spiderman 3. This has prompted the studio to reboot the characters with Garfield.
Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman, Amazing Spider-Man satisfied critics and fans simultaneously. However, The Amazing Spiderman 2 recorded mixed responses.
Its lackluster achievement curtailed all intended sequels and spinoffs. So, Sony figured a deal with Marvel Studios to carry Spider-Man (Tom Holland) into the MCU. However, the version of Holland is loved by all but fans still wonder about how Garfield’s version would look in MCU.
MCU Poster Of Secret Wars On Instagram
Venomhology, a freelance digital artist has shared an MCU poster on Instagram. It features Garfield’s Spiderman. The piece shows a black version of the suit from the second installment of The Amazing Spider-Man. The poster considers this Marvel Studios outing, Secret Wars.
Secret Wars is written by Jim Shooter, having illustrations by Mike Zeck and Bob Layton. It was a crossover comic that was published in 1984 and 85. The tale follows the cosmic entity that is Beyonder. Beyonder observes the Marvel Universe. He abducts a group of heroes and villains and sends them to a planet that is Battleworld. This all happens by being fascinated by seeing the never-ending war between good and evil.
Fans have always hoped to see a Spiderman crossover of Maguire, Garfield, and Tom Holland. This has happened in pages and we hope this can happen on screen as well.
If Marvel adapts the storyline of Secret Wars, it will be having Holland as Spiderman. But hopes never die. We hope to see Garfield one last time.
