Sex Education Season 3 is anticipated to start the filming in August and would be telecasted on Netflix. According to the cast and crews, things are on schedule and they are hopeful for the same.
Netflix series Sex Education was planned to shoot already for season 3. But like many of the projects, things are pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic. It seems cameras will be capturing the series next month. Actor Aimee Lou Wood reveals the plans of starting filming next month at least for now.
Aimee Gibbs played by Wood revealed to Digital Spy, that they would have been shooting for Sex Education Season 3 for Netflix. But, things are pushed till August. And she is not the only one who is optimistic about filming the series.
Formal Work For The Series Is Running
Fans are hoping for the things to kick off soon. So, they can steer the next year with the tradition of watching Sex Education in the beginning. She said, “it looks like it’s on track”.
Wood told the Digital Spy that she had read the first episode and claimed that it is ‘really, really good’. “I am so desperate, especially because I feel like the last season left us all in such interesting positions. But where the characters could go now is kind of limitless,” she added.
In May also, Deadline had reported about the speculations that Netflix and Sex Education Season 3 team would start and are ‘hopeful’ to start shooting in August.
Recently, Sony Pictures Television, Eleven’s new parent company, has announced that formal work is underway for the show. Sony’s president of international production, Wayne Garvie said, “It’s all [good] at the moment.”
Creator Laurie Nunn is having high hopes for the Sex Education even beyond season 3. She spoke to LADbible earlier this year. She said, “I love writing these characters. It’s such a big ensemble and I think the theme of the show – in terms of it being about sex and relationships – it really just offers up endless story opportunities”. “So I think the show definitely has legs if Netflix is nice enough to let me keep writing it and let Ben [Taylor] keep directing it!”, she added.
Let’s hope things will work for Sex Education.
