The American premium cable and satellite television network Starz is going to have a new horror-comedy show called “Shinning Vale”. The series is going to feature Courtney Cox, Greg Kinnear, Mira Sorvino, Merrin Dungey, Gus Birney, and Dylan Gage. The story would circle around the life of Pat Phelps, a writer, and her dysfunctional family who move to a suburban area to live in their new house without knowing that the house is haunted. According to the American new website The Wraps, Courtney’s character Pat will be facing a lot of difficulties in the personal as well as professional aspects of her life.
As a writer, she struggles to write the sequel to her very successful romance novel that came out 17 years before the time that the show is set in. Her marriage is also put to test after a brief affair almost leads them to get separated. Things get turned upside down after the family relocates to their new house which is haunted by a supernatural entity that is visible to only Pat.

The show will have eight episodes and each episode would be half an hour long. It was originally going to air back in 2019 but is now coming this year. Jeff Aston and Sharon Hogan would be the showrunners for the series and Dearbhla Walsh would be directing the pilot.
