“Sex Education” actress Simone Ashley recently landed the lead character in Netflix’s latest hit series “Bridgerton”.
Actor Simone Ashley, commonly known for her previous roles on shows like “Sex Education” and “Because The Night,” is reportedly being cast in the second season of Netflix’s brand new hit series, Bridgerton, as the Female lead role against Jonathan Bailey.

Simone is likely to play Anthony’s romantic interest, Kate Sharma. Kate Sharma is a smart, headstrong young woman of Indian descent, who is newly arrived in London. Bridgerton is based on Julia Quinn’s finest work and all-time bestselling novels, the show, “Bridgerton,” is set in the competitive world of Regency London high society’s Ton during the season, when debutantes are presented at court.
