Ben Affleck had joined the DCEU to play the older version of the Batman flr Zack Snyder years ago. He made a debut in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and then he also appeared in a cameo in Suicide Squad before appearing in Justice League in 2017. However, the theatrical release of the film was altered as Zack Snyder left the sets because of a personal emergency. After the release of the film, a movement began asking for the release of Zack Snyder’s Cut.
Though many have doubted if it will be finished and released ever, now the Snyder Cut of Justice League is finally happening in 2021. It will be released on HBO Max exclusively as a four-part miniseries. And of course, it will be different from the theatrical version. Snyder is constantly revealing plenty of details about the story of his around 3-year journey go vet the announcement of Snyder Cut. The official Snyder Cut of Justice League Twitter account publicized a close up picture of Ben Affleck in the Batman suit to commemorate. The context of when in the Snyder Cut of Justice League this image takes place isn’t clear, particularly since it has been cropped in a varied aspect ratio than Snyder has wielded to tease the new cut.
However, this is not the first image of Ben Affleck’s Batman that has arrived in the honor of Batman Day 2029. Snyder has already shared a shot of Ben Affleck in the suit from Batman v Superman. This shared image gives a double dose to the fans of Batman and Ben Affleck on Batman Day. Over a few years, Snyder has maintained a habit of sharing images of Batman of Affleck and he has repeatedly called him the best Batman.
The Snyder Cut of Justice League will give fans a lot of new Batfleck content, but it won’t be the final time that he is seen. The startling news of Affleck returning as Batman for The Flash ensures that he will play the Dark Knight at least one more time. By the time another Batman Day comes, the Snyder Cut of Justice League would be released hopefully, but probably an image of him from The Flash will be disclosed next year instead.
