Fans of Stranger Things have gathered around, the series is not even stopping at season 4 and moves towards season 5.
During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, The Duffer brothers have confirmed the next installment will not be the final and the last. They have not mentioned the length of the story. But the story of Stranger Things will definitely continue for season 5 after season 4.
Ross Duffer said, “Season four won’t be the end. We know what the end is, and we know when it is. [The coronavirus pandemic] has given us time to look ahead, figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill that out gave us a better idea of how long we need to tell that story.”
“When quizzed about where they’re at with filming, Ross went on: “Everyone’s excited to get back to work, but the priority is the safety of the cast and crew, and that will dictate when we go back.”
Matt Duffer has added to this. He said, “We’ve had a lot more time to work on the scripts. For the first time, we have all the scripts written and we’re able to look at it as a whole piece and make adjustments.”
Season 4 of Stranger Things would Tentatively start the things again from 17th September.
Halted due to the Pandemic
Netflix has taken the decision to suspend the production of films and shows in March. It was due to the global pandemic and the safety measures to be taken.
It will be worth waiting as the filming would recommence. Joe Keery, who plays the character of Steve Harrington in the show hinted that the 4th season is more sinister than the ones that have already arrived.
Fans are in for a treat when they will watch the 4th installment, felt the 28 years old while speaking to Total Film.
He said, “I think that this year – and I know I say this every single year – but this is definitely going to be a lot scarier than prior years because last year was pretty dark. Oh man, it’s pretty amazing – the Duffer brothers have really done it again.”
Let’s wait for the 4th season so the wait could continue for another installment.
