Superman’s existence in the world of Batman can create a lot of conflicts with the two DC’s star superheroes, perhaps even more than in the DCEU.
A newly released photo suggests Superman’s existence as a cameo in Matt Reeves‘ The Batman’s World, potentially all this points out at some series of conflicts between these two superheroes. Following the heartbreaking news that the upcoming Batman Reboot would be delayed again, DC is feeding fans excitement with an ongoing supply of photos from the production. Reeves’ team has been shooting some scenes in Liverpool, London, and Chicago, with leaked shots supplying detail look at Colin Farrell’s Penguin, alongside John Turturro’s Carmine Falcone and Zoe Kravitz’s Selina Kyle. These three adversaries can be seen alongside Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in a series of photos from the set of The Batman showing an outside funeral scene.
Superman’s existence in Matt Reeves’ Universe
The candid shots give different views of the same funeral scene that was shown in the first trailer of the movie. The teaser of the movie gave fans a chance to admire the first real look of Robert Pattinson’s Batman, it seems like he is all set to be a truly ferocious vigilante. The director has been open about how Batman is going to see its own story. Following the funeral set photos, there’s been a steady stream of leaked shots that have remained consistent with the trailer’s dark noir aesthetic, and the grounded realism Reeves has been touting.
Some shots have seen Batman and Catwoman sharing a moment on a motorbike ride and some have shown a classic Batman Standing at a clocktower shot.
Some newly released photos from the set of The Batman hints at Superman’s existence in the world of Batman. The released shots are from the London set where Christopher Reeves can be seen in the iconic Superman suit. Meanwhile, some shots from the Chicago set of the movie shows a newspaper that mentions about Metropolis and “innocent faces looking up to the skies, fingers pointed everywhere looking for you know who.”
This all clearly shows that Fans are going to see the Man of Steel in the world of Dark Knight, this not only calls into question the realism of Reeves and Warner Bros but also suggests that there can be some serious conflicts between the Dark Vigilante and the Son of Krypton. This is how Superman’s existence is revealed.
Back in 2016’s Batman Vs Superman, Batman’s brutality provoked superman to step into the world of Batman, giving a warning to the Dark Vigilante to stop his campaign of Savagery and setting up the stage for a fascinating battle which shows Batman almost killing the Man of Steel. There is no doubt that these two shares different kind off aesthetics with the whole point of Batman being that he’s a darker, more grounded hero than the “Blue Boy Scout” of Metropolis. It’s not that hard to imagine Superman’s existence in Reeves’ Universe stepping in the game of Batman and saying something about Pattinson’s rough and brutal way of handling crime.
