Supernatural has returned to The CW. Supernatural has ultimately returned to The CW on Oct. 8 with its ultimate 7 episodes as the series brings out to its final close, the final in a 15-season run, which will star the Winchesters competing against God himself.
In an interview with TV Line, Andrew Dabb explained what precisely this final fight with God will seem like and which supporters will be assembling forces with the Winchester brothers one last time. He said, “There is no way to avoid this fight. Chuck’s gonna come back, they know what he’s going to do, they know what he wants, they know everything. And so what can they do to fight him?”
Dabb further added, “It’s really about rallying the troops and allies, some people we’ve met before, and some people we’ve sort of met in passing, and some people we haven’t ever seen and used every tool, every arrow in their quiver, to fight this existential, literally God-like threat.”
The series faced suspension due to COVID-19. It didn’t hinder the core parts that were already planned for the finale. Now we will see that Supernatural has returned to The CW.
Supernatural has returned to The CW, Prior Episodes Available On Netflix
As Supernatural has returned to The CW, so far it has been verified that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) will be joined by Charlie Bradbury (Felicia Day) and Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster). Other characters include Adam Milligan/Michael, the boys’ half-brother who returned earlier for the mid-season finale; along with Uriel, an angel who has been killed in Season 4; and Amara, God’s sister, who was last seen in Season 15, Episode 2.
“So that becomes a lot of it, but as so many of these things do, ultimately, it’s gonna come down to Sam and Dean, two guys from Kansas, facing off against the Supreme Being. So, they’re still the underdogs in that fight,” Dabb said.
There will be many reunions but still, we will be left with some. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who played John Winchester, Sam and Dean’s father, was incapable of joining in the final season due to regulations by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The boys were initially introduced to God in Season 4, though they didn’t know him as God.
Season 15, Episode 14 was the first episode after Supernatural’s immediate suspension and indicated that God, a.k.a. Chuck, had been building other galaxies, wherein various versions of the Winchesters had been assassinating each other off. Fans will be seeing it on The CW as Supernatural has returned to The CW.
The final episodes of Supernatural, starring Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert, will air Thursdays on The CW. Fans can see earlier episodes on Netflix.
