Thanos Is The Only Titan, Revealed Josh

Was Thanos Right Entertainment

Now, Josh revealed that he wouldn’t have taken the role if the Titan had been facing just one of the Avengers, Thanos Is The Only Titan. While having an Interview with legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins and his wife, James, on their podcast Team Deakins,  Brolin said that when he signed to play the role of Thanos, he was given a character Bibel so that he can prepare for the role, that Bibel revealed that the Thanos would be taking on all of The Avengers in the Infinity War saga. He also revealed that first he was just signed for a Cameo role that didn’t even pay very well.

Brolin’s comments reveal that not only was the plan to have Thanos take on all The Avengers baked into the character from early on but also that Marvel Studios clearly wasn’t sure they’d follow through on those plans from the beginning. By only signing him on for his first appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel was likely giving themselves an out in case the Infinity War sage didn’t play out the way they wanted it to. Clearly, though, it did and Brolin was brought back for further appearances.

This statement that Thanos Is The Only Titan, by Brolin revealed an interesting fact that he is not keen to play a stock villain in some small superhero movie, he wanted some complex and Strong villain to make his Super Villian debut. And his planned turned to be really successful as Thanos now is the greatest villain of all time.
