Thanos Space Chair Holds More Power Than Some MCU Superheroes

Thanos Space chair consists of so much power that once he destroyed an entire alien species without leaving that throne.

Not every Villain is as privileged as Thanos, as he received a special kind of build-up by the filmmakers before making his first appearance in Avengers: Infinity War. Although Thanos was seen at the end of Avenger’s first movie, he appeared only sporadically from that point on — and rarely even got off of his majestic throne when he did make an appearance. Thanos Space chair was powerful, we will get to know this, here.

In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos saw mentioning his Throne, that is Thanos Space chair, indicating his wish of seeing his adoptive daughter Gamora taking on that Throne one day. As the comic says that Throne is a lot more than an elaborate chair – it’s an extremely powerful chair that once allowed Thanos to eliminate a whole alien species with that throne.

Thanos Space Chair Was Most Powerful

According to Jim Starlin, Thanos was a lot inspired by Jack Kirby’s New Gods comics for DC Comics. Although many had already commented on Thanos’ physical similarities to Kirby’s creation Darkseid and if you take a look at Starlin’s initial sketch for Thanos, it more resembles Kirby’s other character Metron.

A New God, Metron has usually appeared sitting on his powerful throne, in the early stages Starlin gave Thanos something like the Mobius Chair, but later he was asked to make it look like Darkseid. Starlin revised the character but kept the chair for Thanos, which later proved to consist of some insane powers. Just like the Metron’s chair, Thanos Space chair also works as a transportation chair capable of space flight, force field projection, time travel, dimensional travel, and long-range teleportation.

Many times Thanos created and recreated his throne, (Thanos Space chair) with the help of his mystic powers. He was seen using this mystic chair while searching for the Infinity stones. Significantly, Thanos has a mental link with his throne, making his connection to his throne similar to the bond shared by the Silver Surfer with his surfboard.
