Netflix is bringing another season for The Crown.
Netflix is the friend we all are needing these days. The Platform is showing its kindness as it is providing us one more season of the very critically acclaimed show The Crown. The Crown by Netflix delves into the times and era of Queen Elizabeth II. It follows the life of the British Royal Family.
Earlier it was decided that there would only be five seasons for The Crown. However, the decision has been changed. The makers of the show have decided to add one more season. According to the makers, it is important to have one more installment of the show in order to tell the story in a particular manner.
Though in January, earlier this year, they had decided to cut short the series from more to a limited number that is 5. That is to say, the series was planned to have five seasons only.
The Decision from Five To Six Came After This
Peter Morgan, Creator and the Executive Producer of The Crown, at that time has different notions to say. He said, “Now that we have begun work on the story of season five, it has become clear to me that this is the perfect time and place to stop.” He was thankful to Netflix for streaming the show on the platform and was also happy that Sony has helped him throughout. He said, ” I am grateful to Netflix and Song for supporting me in this decision.”
They have now changed the decision. Because it is almost impossible to juice out the goodness and reality of the British Royal Family in the 1990s. They need another season to squeeze the goodness out in front of the audiences.
The same would include the relationship between Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Falling apart from Prince Andrews and Sarah Ferguson’s marriage would be in the plot. Also, it covers the fire at Windsor Castle and the death of Princess Diana.
