Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy celebrated its 12th anniversary yesterday. It is the second movie to portray Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, where he is supported by Maggie Gyllenhall as Rachel Daves, Aaron Eckart who played Harvey Dent and Heath Ledger as Joker. It first hit the cinemas on 18th July 2008.
The movie made an immediate smash after its release. It wowed critics and viewers. This had enabled the genre an Oscar for late Ledger. He won posthumously for Best Supporting Actor. The Dark Knight is still favorite to many fans.
