Netflix is giving chance to have a lifetime benifit by participating in The Old Guard Video Game.
Netflix is ready to offer a lifetime subscription to the one who will score well on this game. The online streaming platform is now set to give chance to someone to win a 1000 month subscription by just playing a game.
Netflix is celebrating the release of The Old Guard amd thus offering The Old Guard Video Game. It is released that Netflix will be offering one US resident a chance by holding an “Immortal Netflix Account”. The account will run for 1000 months i.s. 83 years. It will be given to the one who will score high on the Old Guard Video Game.
The Old Guard is based on the novel that is written by Greg Rucka. It tells the story of a group of mercenaries that have the ” mysterious inability to die”. The secret is disclosed when an unexpected member is discovered and joins the group.
Charlize Theron is the one who plays Andy. He heads up the hand with KiKi Layne and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The Competition Has Started Already
Netflix has launched the competition alongside this, which has started.
“As you would expect, the original game used for the competition mirrors the events of the film. It’s a browser-based, top-down, beat ’em up video game where you play as the lead character of the film, and fight off hordes of enemies using only the film’s iconic one-handed Labrys (aka a giant, double-bladed ax),” according to Netflix.
“But just like in the movie, dying is not the end. Getting killed only slows you down, so to get the highest score, you have to defeat enemies without getting hit, and as quickly as possible.”
The competition will run till 3 days that are, 17, 18, 19 July. It is open to US residents only.
The director of the movie, Gina Prince-Bythewood has already said this that she will soon be working on the sequel. The film has made its mark on the Netflix platform.
Bythewood On More Story To Follow
While speaking to Polygon, she said, “honestly, it’s up to the audience. We’ll see how the audience responds to the film.”
“Greg Rucka, who wrote the graphic novels and the screenplay, always envisioned the novels as a trilogy, and I know where the story goes, which is pretty great. So if the audience is up for them, there’s certainly more story to tell.”
“It really depends on where I am when it’s ready for a sequel. I love this story, and love the cast I put together. So I don’t know, I love that I created this thing, and I don’t know how I’d feel about someone else’s hands on it,” she further added.
“On the flip side, I have my next film lined up, so it would probably be based on schedule more than desire. Because certainly, of course, I would want to.”
Fans have already started playing the video game from 4 pm (17 July). The Old Guard is streaming on the site of Netflix already.
