The Umbrella Academy Season 3 could boost the strengths of Hargreeves’ siblings. The Umbrella Academy is based on the comic of the same name. It is a Netflix live-action series that launched way back in 2019. It has offered a unique take on the genre of superheroes. The first season was well received and resulted in another season. Season 2 of the season has just dropped on the OTT platform.
The Hargreeves siblings have failed to save the apocalypse in season 1. The following season again put them in crosshairs of the world ending event. The siblings then go back to 1960 and their presence set off the events that would lead to a nuclear war. This could destroy the planet. Season 2 was holding any surprises as the plot was revealed. It also included the evolution of the siblings and their powers. Ben understood how to possess Klaus, Diego showcased tremendous telekinetic abilities, and Five began to get his time traveling abilities under control. After these upgrades, season 3 would be increasing the Umbrella Academy’s strengths further.
Boost In Energies
While having an interview with The Wrap, Steve Blackman hinted that The Umbrella Academy Season 3 would show the power of Hargreeves’ siblings as boosted.
According to Blackman, the following season of the show could detect the Hargreeves’ youngsters finally continue training. They realize that they are more significant when they are together.
He said, “They’re all sort of growing up. like to think as we go forward that their powers are also evolving. They’re learning new things. They were trained until they were 14 or 15 by a very dysfunctional dad but then the family blew apart before they could finish their training. … They might even discover in the future that their powers are stronger when they’re together.”
Though Netflix hasn’t yet revived for a third season, so it is not confirmed that Blackman will get the opportunity to proceed with the story.
Maybe siblings could unlock their new powers between them. Now Lila will also be a part of the mix, it will be interesting to see what The Umbrella Academy does with the powers in season 3.
