FRIENDS’ actress Jennifer Aniston’s ex-lover revealed how he was dying inside while playing her love interest on FRIENDS.

Jennifer Aniston is a woman of many talents and she has played one of the most iconic roles in her career and that is none another than FRIENDS’ popular character Rachel Green. Including all the six characters in the show, no one dated as much as Rachel Green did. Rachel romanced a lot of people in the show which includes her neighbour to office assistance to her ex-fiancé. However, there was one guy Tate Donovan who she dated in real life.
Rachel dated Tate Donovan in reel and real-life too. Actor Tate Donovan played Joshua in the show. The two had dated before the episodes were filmed.
Why It Was Difficult For Tate Donovan On FRIENDS:
Joshua and Rachel met while she was working in Bloomingdales. Rachel was a personal shopper and started taking interest in him. The actor played the character for almost six episodes but he revealed it was really tough for him and he was dying inside while shooting for the show. In a conversation with US Weekly, he said “I was just happy to be on the team. The only bummer was Jennifer Aniston and I were breaking up at the time…And so that was tricky to sort of act and act like we are just meeting each other and falling in love or whatever interested in each other when we’re sort of breaking up. That was just tough”
Further, he explained “It was just six episodes. I mean, only because we were breaking up. We were like hey can we not keep doing this? Cause this is really painful and tough. The people that know that we dated think that we met on FRIENDS. But in fact, we had dated for two years before then and it was over by the time we were on FRIENDS together”
