Filmmaker Taika Waititi has returned to work. He has offered some new photos of an onset nap. Taila Waititi is one of the filmmakers who has put his career on hold during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Taika Waititi x Jojo Rabbit
After the Oscar-Winning performance last year with Jojo Rabbit, he was supposed to have a busy exciting 2020. But nobody has thought of this. Nobody has predicted what 2020 would bring to the world. Fans are treated to Waititi’s directorial efforts on the finale season of The Mandalorian, just before COVID-19 came into existence. Though, there is less for the fans to sink their teeth into.
The pandemic has continued to devastate the lives of many and nations. Hollywood is slowly taking steps to get back to the tracks. Long-awaited sequels, Jurassic World: Dominion and Mission Impossible 7 are moving towards the expected directions. Other filmmakers will be following the same pattern soon.
Taika Waititi is back on sets
Waititi is back at work. Not only is he back, but he is also looking comfortable and safe in the photos. Though, he is not working in the photos but taking a power nap.
“As for just what set it is that he’s taking some much-needed rest on, that remains unconfirmed. The best and most likely guess would probably be Next Goal Wins, the comedic adaptation of a 2014 documentary on the American Samoa football team, who were annihilated by Australia in the 2001 World Cup, 31-0. Waititi wrote the adaptation with The Inbetweeners co-creator Iain Morris, and the film will also star Michael Fassbender, Elisabeth Moss, and Armie Hammer. Filming on two of Waititi’s other major upcoming projects, Thor: Love and Thunder, as well as his untitled Star Wars film, have yet to officially begin, though there is surely no small amount of people who are desperate for production on both those titles to begin as soon as possible.”
It is great to see him back on set. Also, he is taking proper precautions.
