Thor is known to be the mighty hero who fights using his hammer. Though fighting with a hammer might sound lame to the unaware ears, but Thor’s mighty hammer, Mjolnir, can deal some serious damage to his opponents. Thor fighting without his trademark hammer is a sight that is not usually seen, unless in situations in which he has to resort to other weapons to defeat his foes.
Thor Upgrade – Mighty Hammer
Thor’s mighty hammer (Mjolnir) was the weapon that Thor used to earn his reputation among other gods and to live up to his title as the “God Of Thunder.” Though he has also been seen fighting with his other weapon, Jarnbjorn or popularly known as StormBreaker, the mighty hero just got yet another cool arsenal in his armory. This new arsenal is a High tech Mechanical Suit of armor with his classic Hammer as a weapon.
The Avengers: Upgraded “Avengers Mech Strike” is a brand new stand-alone comic series from marvel. Written by Jed Mackay and illustrated by Carlos Magno, this is the story about the avenger’s face- off against a new threat, the Biomechanoids. Biomechanoid are creatures that increase their strength and become strong by absorbing energy. These giant and terrifying creatures are found to have only one weakness – Vibranium. After their original fail to put a stop to this enemy, the Avengers realize that they need to attack the enemy with some new equipment, for which they turn to Tony Stark.
After assessing the situation, Tony Stark sheds some light on some useful “Toys” that he had been working on in his leisure time. In classic Tony Stark style, this new equipment is a mechanical suit of armor for every avenger. The absolutely mind-blowing mech suits are specially designed to suit the fighting style of each avenger. The look of these mech suits was a reflection of their human pilots. Though they had not been battle-tested before, they would serve as “Force Multiplier,” amplifying the abilities of their pilots as claimed by their creator, Tony Stark.
Thor’s Mech Suit:
Thor’s mech suit appears to be built around the God of Thunder’s trademark fighting style, also including a gigantic version of his iconic weapon. Painted in Thor’s traditional blue, gray and red colors, this new mech suit also features his classic winged helm along with a right arm that has a Hammer instead of a hand.
It is yet to be revealed if Tony Stark’s creation can be a rival to those forged by the dwarves of Nidavellir, but this vibrant coated suit of amour would surely be a great asset in the fight against the Biomechanoids. The next issue of the comic is greatly awaited in order to see the mighty Thor in action in his brand new Mech suit.
