Tim Burton is in talks with Netflix to make a series on Wednesday Addams. Scroll down to know the details!
Tim Burton is no stranger to Gothic and Horror Films. He is rather the master of films and shows like these. He has now approached Netflix in the interest of making a show on Wednesday Addams. Wednesday the sister of Pugsley Addams, and is surely one of the darkest and coldest characters the world has ever seen.
What we know about Wednesday Addams?
The series is going to be gloomy and very frightening and it’s clear from now itself. Probably one of the scariest members of the iconic Addams family, the story will follow the childhood of Wednesday Addams. She would be seen mastering her supernatural Psychic abilities and solving the mystery of her parents from 25 years ago. So, it’s possible she would be a psychopath killer on a detective hunt.
Tim Burton is not only going to direct the series; he will executive produce it. It is said to be an eight-episode program which will be a live-action show. Timm will be joining Andrew Mittman in this Wednesday Addams project who was in charge of the 2019 animation of the quirky Addams family. They have also invited people who have worked on the Addams family material before. The list includes Kayla Alpert from Code Black, Up All Night, Jonathan Glickman for Glickmania ( Addams Family 2), Gail Berman( The Addams Family, Alphas), and Kevin Miserocchi( Tee and Charles Addams Foundation). Tim’s previous work in Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd and Beetlejuice, and many more movies just make him perfect for the job.
Now the main task at hand is casting. They will be on the lookout for the perfect person to fill the shoes of Wednesday Addams. Without a doubt, this series is going to be the gloomiest horror-thriller.
