Too Hot to Handle season is all wrapped up and fans are eagerly waiting for season 3 to premier. Here’s everything we know about Too Hot To Handle season 3.
After an amazing second season of Too Hot to Handle, the reality show, just wrapped with some details about season 3. Netflix announced that the dating show was renewed for two more seasons. That is right! Season 3 of Too Hot to Handle already exists. There is a whole new crew of international models just waiting to be introduced to the world via Netflix to fill the Lana-shaped void in your life. “The secret is out — we’re thrilled to bring back ‘Too Hot to Handle’ for two new seasons in a tropical paradise,” Brandon Riegg, Netflix’s VP of unscripted and documentary series, told Variety this past January.
Netflix has reportedly already filmed season 3. The two seasons were filmed back to back in Turks and Caicos. Narrated by a virtual assistant, or “talking air freshener,“ Lana, Too Hot to Handle follows 10 single contestants who live together in a villa looking for romance and compete for a $100,000 grand prize. However, this isn’t your typical dating show based in paradise. Unlike dating shows like Love Island, contestants cannot kiss or have any sexual activity with one another. If they break the rules, the prize money drops, which ends up causing plenty of drama. While there is still a lot to learn for the upcoming season, a few details have been confirmed.
The Cast: Too Hot To Handle Season 3
As it turns out, Season 3 was filmed back-to-back with Season 2 at the height of the pandemic lockdown, in the winter of 2020. An insider told Variety that contestants for seasons 2 and 3 were cast at the same time. To keep the show’s premise under wraps from contestants, who signed up for the show not knowing exactly what it was, production titled the show “Parties in Paradise” throughout the casting process. Although casting is already complete, there’s no word on who might be part of the show yet. But if the past two seasons are anything to go by, fans can expect a group of good-looking 20-something-year-old influencers ready to grace the island.
The Release Date
Netflix has not yet revealed the release date. Remember, though: The first and second seasons of Too Hot to Handle were released about a year apart. The same will likely be true for this third season. It’s a safe guess that fans may not have to wait that long for the highly binge-able show.
