LUCIFER
The series first started airing in 2016 and is based on ANGELS & DEVIL and their followers. Though it may sound very naïve it’s one hell of a series filled with fun, sarcasm, a lot of drama, and everything combined it can be your happy getaway for the weekend. The series revolves around Tom Ellis, (Lucifer Morningstar) the King of Hell who steps down for a vacation on Earth, and Lauren German (Chloe Decker) who is a detective in LAPD and also happens to be Lucifer’s love interest. The remaining episodes of season 5 recently released and ever since have been in the TOP 10 of Netflix.
MONEY HEIST
The first season released in 2017 and has been a fan favorite ever since. The story revolves around a group of people recruited for conducting the biggest and bad heist in the history of Spain by a man named PROFESSOR (who’s the mastermind behind it all). The series has 4 seasons till now but has also announced 4 more releases this year itself. The suspense and thrill it brings along with it, making sure you are always on the edge of your seat is beyond brilliant.
STRANGER THINGS
This Sci-fi series 1st released in 2016 and is based on a group of friends who accidentally unravel a series of supernatural mysteries. The series released 3 seasons and is all set to release the 4th one. It’s one of the most amazing horror series too but never loses its Sci-fi touch. The series is short and crisp and instantly became a hit as soon as it released. The power of friendship and how they stick together for their friends is the heart of the story.
PEAKY BLINDERS
This British Drama started back in 2013 and is coming up with the 6th season. It’s the story of Thomas Shelby (Cilian Murphy) who is a very dangerous man and leads the gang named Peaky Blinders in Birmingham. Soon enough, Chester Campbell who is an inspector decides to take him head-on and end the era of crime. Its full of action and drama and has a fan base that’s hard to miss.
SEX EDUCATION
This millennial series released in 2019 and is based on a socially awkward boy named Otis whose personal life might not be exactly filled with lovemaking but he’s got great guidance and authority on the subject because his mother Jenna is a sex therapist. Soon he sets up a sex therapy clinic along with Maeve to deal with their classmate’s problems. The series has 2 seasons and is filled with comedy and drama.
UNBELIEVABLE
This limited series released in 2019 and is about a teenager who reports being raped and then recants her story. But 2 determined cops follow the evidence and it could actually reveal the truth. It’s based on a true story and it’s very grim yet inspiring to speak out and not go in a whole in times of need. It stars Merritt Wever (aka Detective Karen Duvall) and Toni Collette (aka Detective Grace Rasmussen).
SHERLOCK HOLMES
This British crime series 1st released in 2010 and is based on the books of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels about Sherlock Holmes and his marvelous brain. The series is based on Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman) and these two solve crimes all over the place. The suspense and thrill the show has is beyond measure. But that’s not all; it also talks about friendship and respect for one another. The series has 4 seasons but is supposedly planning the 5th one (Fingers crossed)
