Netflix posted the trailer to its official Twitter account. It is with the caption, “It would be an empty world without the Blues.”

The movie is based on August Wilson’s 1982 play of the exact name. It confides the tale of Ma Rainey, a forerunner of the blues genre.
The role is portrayed by Davis, an award-winning actor, and producer. Ma Rainey struggles with the issues of 1920s Chicago that includes relationships, racism, and exploitation of Black musicians.
Boseman depicts Ma’s boyfriend Levee. He is a trumpet performer who craves to make his imprint on the blues scene in the city.
The movie will be out on Netflix before Christmas.
It is the final film to star Boseman, who tragically dies at the age of 43 at the end of August. He was suffering from Cancer. He never talked publicly about his diagnosis and labored through his medication.
