Trailer Of Frank And Zed Is Out The Team Worked For 7 Years
Blanchard has been laboring on the movie in his garage and a close studio for seven years. At first, he labored on nights and weekends, but two prosperous Kickstarter campaigns in 2015 and 2017 enabled him to celebrate more time to the project. It was shot in 4K and shows 40 handmade puppets, miniatures, practical cloud tank effects, and real fire.
The trailer of Frank and Zed is for all now. Blanchard told The Hollywood Reporter, “I’ve been on this journey for the past seven years, That’s 20% of my life. I know the world I’ve created is all an illusion, that none of it’s real. And yet, Frank and Zed have somehow become my dear friends. I’ve been blessed with an incredible team and the resources to tell my unique story, and I could not be more proud of the final result. This film is my own personal dream world, brought to life. And now, thanks to the incredible programmers at Nightstream, others will finally be able to share in that dream.”
It is written and directed by Jesse Blanchard, Frank & Zed will be premiering at Nightstream, which will run from Oct. 8-11 on nightstream.org.
