Netflix has released the trailer of The Christmas Chronicles 2. The movie will be welcoming back Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn in roles of Santa and Mrs. Claus. The original Christmas Chronicles pursues young siblings and ‘true believers’ that are Kate and Teddy Pierce, who strive to catch Santa Claus (Kirk Russell) on Christmas Eve.
However, their strategy takes off to pot and they end up slamming Santa’s sleigh. Then they unite with St Nick to get the gifts provided on time.

According to Netflix, the time around Kate is “unexpectedly reunited with Santa Claus when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel (played by Julian Dennison) threatens to destroy Christmas forever.”
However, Netflix does not reveal the viewership figures, but the first installment was one of the most successful movies on Netflix. Sarandos revealed that the movie has 20 million views in the first week at UBS Global Media and Communications Conference.
He said, “If every one of those was a movie ticket purchase, that’s a $200 million opening week. Even movies that go on to $1 billion don’t typically do that in the first week.”
