The story has been wrapped up in Avengers: Endgame. But, still, there is this one part in the storyline that has not been resolved, “killing of Bucky’s parents”. It has been revealed in Captain America: Civil War that Howard and Maria have not died because of the accident, but they have been murdered by some soldier. This has been kept as a secret.
After the loss of a genius, billionaire and Steve Rogers to Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, the rest of the remaining heroes part their ways in different directions where Tony goes on to check on his superhero gig and focusses on quiet family life with Pepper Potts and his daughter Morgan. Despite collecting six infinity stones, this mission has given him an opportunity to see his father.
Tony has been seen making up with Steve. They do not get into the details of their rift and show their mutual understanding of each other. Despite his friendship with Steve, he is unable to befriend with Bucky. He has been shown having much anger in him for Bucky, maybe for murdering his mother.
As he has been going gradually back to his former self, he teams up with Sam as the new Captain America in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Bucky does a lot of good moving forward.
Marvel Studios could have shown the real storyline in the Endgame. Nevertheless, the opportunity of showing how they have made peace has been missed. It is something that Endgame has not been addressed.
The same could have been shown like any other reunion, for example, a reunion between Peter Parker, Spider-Man and Iron Man. There could have a brief story where they could have focussed on the plot of their history of not liking each other. It has been shown already, that Bucky has been forgiven before the death of Tony, and there is no bad blood between them.
