You must have read DC and Marvel comics. Many might have read others as well. So here is the Valiant Comics that has made its way in 1989 by an American founder, Jim Shooter (then former editor in chief of Marvel Comics) with Steven Massarkry (lawyer and businessman).
It was restarted in 2005 that was closed due to bankruptcy. It had also been declared in 2005 that Valiant had partnered with Sony pictures.
Harbinger is one of the best from Valiant. And it is announced earlier that the comic would be making its way to the big screens. Fans have claimed it as the best comic book of the decade.
It follows the story of Peter Stanchek who is born with special mental abilities. He has Harbinger abilities. After the facts and abilities of Peter, Harada is not the only omega Harbinger. Before him, Toyo Harada has been the only Harbinger. He could control minds, could order anything. He has also created a Harbinger foundation. The foundation trains harbingers for making a secret Harbinger army.
The comic lets fans know more about Toyo Harada as he is the survivor of world war 2.
Peter starts his own organisation “Renegades” against Harada.
The book has around 41 issues that deal with the race of superhumans in the Valiant universe. These superhumans are born with psionic powers.
Harbinger Hitting Theatres Soon
As earlier the company has announced the partnership with Sony Pictures along with DMG Entertainment to come up with films like Harbinger, Bloodshot and more. But somehow the plans have failed. In 2015, Valiant Entertainment partnered with DMG Entertainment for nine-figures of movie financing equity for the creation of dramatic films, based on Valiant’s content of iconic superhero characters. These plans drop-through, nevertheless, when it has been declared openly that Paramount has attained the rights and liberties to Harbinger from Valiant Entertainment.
The film is still in the plan. We could see Harbinger from the Valiant’s universe soon with the help of Paramount Entertainment. The movie will soon be hitting the theatres with the same intended cast.
