Marvel Studio’s villain in Hawkeye’s Disney Plus series is on the way and some steaming rumors may have revealed the villain for the series. Among some of the established stars of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton is definitely the one who will get benefits from phase 4’s venture to the small screen. Hawkeye never had a solo film but now he will be the leader of his very own Disney+ series. He is not going to enjoy the party alone, he will introduce his MCU replacement in Kate Bishop.
In 2019 Marvel Studios officially announced the batch of Disney+ shows and Hawkeye was a member of it but since then there were no details about the series. Some bright spots have been the potential of Hailee Steinfeld playing Kate Bishop and the apparent influence of Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye comic series. The main story of the series is still a mystery but new rumors somewhere revealed one of the villains of the series.

According to the rumors steamed up about the villain in Hawkeye’s Disney Plus series that Marvel villain Giuletta Nefaria aka Madame Masque will have a role in Hawkeye’s Disney Plus series. Rumors claim that she may have a supporting role so she is not the main antagonist that Clint and Kate face off with. The Direct got some exclusive news about the Marvel Studios but for now, these are just rumors.
Madame Masque, also known as Whitney Frost, a long-time Marvel Villian who wears a Golden mask to cover her disfigured face. She has evilness in her blood as she is the daughter of supervillain and crime syndicate leader Luchino Nefaria and has had big roles in multiple major comic events. She also has a role in Fraction’s Hawkeye series which is one of the main inspirations for the series. This run shows she tries to buy a tape that framed Hawkeye for murder but was stopped by Kate, starting a feud between them.
After Fraction’s source material link with Madame Masque to Hawkeye and Kate Bishop, it becomes obvious to her to make appearances in the series. But that doesn’t mean she will definitely have a role in the series or she is going to work as the Fraction’s story. It is worth noting, though, that her interactions with Clint and Kate in the comics happened in Madripoor.
