Vin Diesel Teases the Release Date of the Fast X Trailer

Vin Diesel, star of the long-running action series Fast and Furious, informs fans of the release date of the first Fast X trailer.

According to Fast X star Vin Diesel, fans won’t have to wait too long to see Dominic Toretto and company in action.

Diesel shared a photo of himself hugging Jordana Brewster, who plays Dominic’s sister Mia Toretto in the movie, on Instagram. The caption on the image stated that the trailer would be released in less than two months, although he did not provide a specific date.

Given that it is the tenth installment of the hugely popular series, which made its debut with the original 2001 movie starring Diesel and the late Paul Walker, the movie represents a significant milestone for the Fast & Furious franchise. From the first film to Furious 7, Diesel’s Toretto and Walker’s Brian O’Conner served as the franchise’s faces. The rebellious Toretto and O’Conner, a former LAPD agent turned professional street racer, were frequently in the spotlight as they engaged in high-speed adventures and defeated several villains. Just over a year before Furious 7 hit theatres, Walker perished in a single-car collision in Santa Clarita, California, in November 2013.

Fast and Furious: The Changing Franchise

Since Walker’s death, the Fast & Furious franchise has become more and more focused on Dominic and his family. In F9: A Fast Saga, John Cena, best known for playing Dominic’s brother Jakob, made his acting debut. Rita Moreno will play Abuela Toretto, his grandmother, in Fast X. Michelle Rodriguez will play Leticia “Letty” Ortiz, Dominic’s wife, once more in the forthcoming movie.

Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Chris “Ludacris” Bridges (Tej), Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey), and Sung Kang are among the cast members who return for Fast X. (Han Lue). Additionally coming back are the Oscar-winning performers Helen Mirren (Queenie) and Charlize Theron (Cipher). Jason Momoa, who starred in the Aquaman movie, will portray the androgynous antagonist Dante, while Brie Larson, who appeared in Avengers: Endgame, will make her franchise debut as Tess.

Fast X is scheduled for release in May of 2016, but little is known about its plot. However, because it will cost 70% more than F9, its budget has generated a lot of discussions. Fast X’s production has also encountered numerous problems throughout 2022, including Justin Lin’s departure as director in April after a heated argument with Diesel on site and noise/safety concerns voiced by one Los Angeles neighborhood during filming in July. Louis Leterrier, who directed The Incredible Hulk and Clash of the Titans, will now take the head of the picture. Source: Instagram
