The story revolves around Melinda played by Alexandra Breckenridge and Jack played by Martin Henderson. Mel’s painful past forced her to move to Virgin River, a town in California where she started her new midwife life. She soon realizes she may have bitten off more than she can chew and also starts her friendship with former Marine, Jack Sheridan.
