Is there any possibility of a WandaVision spin-off in Marvel? Find out here!
Marvel Studios’ WandaVision blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision – two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban life – begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. WandaVision is an American web television miniseries, based on the Marvel Comics superheroes Scarlet Witch and Vision. The series is a sequel to Avengers: Endgame and will lead into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It is the first installment and the first television series of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series is produced by Marvel Studios and was released on Disney+.
Wanda’s Powers
The few last episodes of WandaVision amplified Wanda’s competency and made her precisely earn the title of the ‘Scarlet Witch’. With her performance in the series, she has opened ways in supernatural forms. She has also gained prospective that the character could explore anywhere in MCU. Probably Wanda could get a spin-off series while exploring both her character and her supernatural powers. One of her forecast could be inspired by the comic run Scarlet Witch by James Robinson, Vanesa del Rey, Marco Rudy, Steve Dillon, and Chris Visions, with each episode taking Wanda into the supernatural world of the MCU.
Thereafter Plot
There are possibilities that Wanda would wonder alone in the supernatural world of MCU, but if the story follows the comic then Wanda will escort Agatha Harkness who’d be her mentor. It was Agatha, who taught Wanda how to tackle her magic through magic in her earliest appearances, and the show could use this opportunity to delve deeper into the witch’s past and the dark choices she made to remain immortal. WandaVision’s Matt Shakman has reaffirmed that Wanda Maximoff’s journey is far from over, with more of her story to be revealed in Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Wanda’s life has always been filled with misery and despair. To Wanda, the most downhearted reality was that her kids were never real. In the hunt for her kids, any magic-user in the MCU could end up on a collision course with Wanda, like for example Mephisto who in comics has kept Tommy’s and Billy’s soul. Well, it’s uncertain to point out who’d be the villain.
