When Apple dropped iOS 14, it delivered many feature features as a surprise, but there is one hidden feature in your iPhone that allows you to control your iPhone with handy shortcuts.
A handy shortcut called ‘Back Tap’, a feature that was delivered with Apple’s new iPhone software update and it helps you to perform some actions like launching Siri, taking screenshots, locking the phone, and more way more quickly.
It doesn’t need any rocket science to unlock this new feature, you just have set the desired shortcuts up, you’re able to simply tap the back of your iPhone to activate them… hence the very literal name of Back Tap. To unlock this feature you have to go in the setting and then have to make a turn to accessibility, before touching the setting.
In the accessibility, the section finds Back Tap, where it will allow you to choose Double Tap and Triple Tap function – more than that it helps you to set up a shortcut from the list.
“Double- or triple-tap the back of your iPhone to perform actions quickly,” it says.
While you can only have two Back Tap shortcuts at a given time – one for double-tapping and one for triple-tapping – you can always change them to something else whenever you like.
For example, this allows you to set your device in a way that double-tap can take you directly to the Control Center and Triple Tap can make your iPhone silent.
