Chrome for desktop is bringing one of the bigger updates than usual. It will likely come with more improved security, safety, and privacy features. Users will be seeing new features, that include user interface changes. There will be more checks done to prevent users from visiting vicious websites. New Chrome will be having a more secure DNS and third party cookie in incognito mode.
This first update is user interface changes. Google is trying to make it easier to find. Cookie settings, extensions, privacy settings and Google sync settings are all coming to be more central. They will get satisfactory and apparent explanatory labels. These changes are significant because they are connected with ongoing issues of Google and Chrome.
Google Takes Action to Clear Extension
The extension may be occurring in the main toolbar. Google has undertaken an extended action to clear Chrome’s extensions. This would make it easier to restrict the permissions. Users will still be able to pin extensions if they want.
The new menu will not be about only extensions. It will clearly be showing the current state of extension.
Introducing Cookies At The Top
Google is bringing cookies out at the top level in the settings menu. It will now be easier to adjust them. It could be a way to teach the users what exactly cookies are. And why we should pay attention to them.
However, Google will start up obstructing third-party cookies but in Incognito mode only. In Incognito, there may be an approval that stuff could halt in the name of privacy.
Updated Safety Check Tool
Settings will feature a Safety Check Tool. The tool exists already, Google now expands it to check known password breaches. If users use Chrome’s devices for protecting your passwords, the browser will warn the user if any location could breach.
In the next version of Chrome, Google will be offering Enhanced Safe Browsing. While turning it on, the URL of the “uncommon” websites would be shared. Google announces that this tool will incorporate with data gathered from the private Gmail and Drive accounts.
According to Google, Chrome will wield a list of encrypted DNS providers that the business retains to fit your ISP. It falls back to default DNS if It has no encrypted option and deactivated in Windows if parental custody is activated. It will turn it off in cases if it discerns enterprise tool management policies.
The next version of Chrome will be carrying the biggest update after a long while. It is likely to come in the coming weeks.
